So, as you might have guessed, I've finally managed to get around to creating a LiveJournal account for myself. This is mostly the fault of having a small amount of Real Work™ to do, and also some gentle persuasion from sjmurdoch.

Today has been spent mostly at the lab, although I had to rush back this afternoon because the power supply in the switch that sits between one of my machines and the rest of the world failed. We've ordered a shiny new one to replace it, but hopefully 3com will fix the old one, so we can use it somewhere else.

I'm off to bed now, but there will be more tomorrow, no doubt...
